Dr. Nikhil Pai Joins McMaster’s Pediatric GI Team
Dr. Nikhil Pai has taken the long way home. Growing up in Dundas, Dr. Pai obtained his undergraduate degree at Western University and attended McMaster Medical School. Following pediatric training at the Hospital for Sick Children, Dr. Pai trained in Pediatric Gastroenterology at Harvard University Medical School. He returns to McMaster as an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics with a special interest in pediatric nutrition and the problems caused by overweight and obesity
Dr. Herbert Brill Appointed William Osler’s Pediatric Chief
While taking on his new responsibilities in Brampton and Etobicoke, Dr. Brill remains active at McMaster continuing to run the postgraduate training program, with additional responsibility organizing care for children with liver problems and celiac disease at McMaster Children’s Hospital.
McMaster Nutrition Days Conference
Every two years, the Kids Dig Health Program at McMaster sponsors a two day professional conference on childhood nutrition. Connie Stuart and the McMaster pediatric dietitians organize a program for regional dietitians and physicians featuring presentations by 20 local and international nutrition experts.
